Røros – be captured
What is Røros? Røros is a state of mind. When you stand at the bottom of Kjerkgata and peer up at the spire of the ‘Fjellets Katedral’ (Cathedral of the Mountain) through the driving snow. When you experience the silence between the old, cracked wooden walls in Musveta. When you stand at the top of Slagghaugene, bright and early on a summer’s morning, and watch the sunrise over the mountain settlement. Then you will be filled with reverence. For those who came here before you, and for those who will come after you.
